today has been a very long but progressive day,  this is the progress I hae so far with the plane, as you see it is not finished or complete, the most difficult part is the mid section, due to its shape, its been a bit of a trial to work this out, and also the front of this air craft aswell, but over all I feel that it is a better step forward to how it was, I am enjoying the more pencil style, I feel you can see the shape and the look of the aircraft more. But still, it is not fully finished and the parts in black are the parts that are still to come.

One Response so far.

Hi Matt, glad you are finding the new method of working into the white silhouette easier, and I definitely feel that putting the human figure in was a good idea - you can really feel the size and bulk of the plane now.
The only thing I would say is, at the moment, the nose area of the plane seems a bit 'fussy' - there seem to be too many random panels. It seems to take away from the feeling that this is supposed to be an expensive, corporate machine, and give it more of a 'hotch-potch', cobbled together feeling - more suited to your pirate craft.
The only other thing I would say is, I'm not sure that the lines depicting the bulging area between the wings, are running in the right direction. It might be worth putting a quick shader 'wash' on (like in the first example of vehicle concept art that you posted previously, just so you can see exactly where it's bulging in and out!
