hey Matt, seems like perspective is all the rage at the moment. Try moving the vanishing point further to one side. It makes everything in the scene more dynamic and can help draw the viewers eye to a particular point. :)

Tom's absolutely right - move the vanishing point off centre (remember the 'rule of thirds') and your image will immediately start to feel more complex and satisfying - check out Ruben's blog, as he's been working out similar problems with his corridor scene.
