As out of interrest I decided to look up 1950's robots, to see how they walked as I thought it would be good to use there legs for some kind of transport but searching on youtube I came accross these robots, I feel that this could be a greate way of how the 50's toys could use a scare element against the later toys of the 70's and 80's and how the toys can move in this abstract way, or tanks even.
